My name is Lamine, and the history and culture of Martinique have always fascinated me. Born and raised in Martinique, I grew up listening to the stories of my elders, anecdotes about the streets of Fort-de-France, and the well-kept secrets of its past.
My story

It all started with a passion for the history and culture of Martinique.
Since I was little, I loved listening to the stories of the elders, imagining life in the old days in the alleys of Fort-de-France and understanding what shaped our island.
After a CPGE (preparatory class for the grandes écoles) at the Bellevue high school in Fort-de-France, two years at the University of the Antilles and a year at business school, I decided to combine my academic knowledge with my love of heritage.
I worked in tourism, learned on the job, and understood one essential thing: a successful visit is not just a list of dates and monuments, it is a living experience, a journey through time.
With Lamine's Excursion, my goal is simple: to show you Fort-de-France in a different way.
Not just walking the streets, but immersing you in the hidden stories, telling you what the books don't say and making you feel the soul of the city.
